May 22 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has completed the acquisition of a 28.3% stake in business process and technology outsourcing (BPTO) services provider M Plus Croatia in exchange for a 60 million euro ($65 million) investment, M Plus Croatia's majority owner, Meritus Ulaganja, said.
Strengthened by this investment, Mplus Group will continue to expand its business and consolidate its strategic position in the international business-process outsourcing (BPO) market, Meritus Ulaganja said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse on Tuesday.

Meritus Ulaganja is the parent company of Mplus Group. M Plus Croatia, part of Mplus Group, consolidates the companies operating in the group’s BPO business vertical.
Concurrently with the conclusion of the investment, two BPO experts appointed by the EBRD, Stephanie Wilson and Derwyn Jones, joined the supervisory and advisory boards of M Plus Croatia, Meritus Ulaganja added.
Shares of Meritus Ulaganja [ZSE:MRUL] last traded on the Zagreb bourse on May 17, closing flat at 217 euro.
