EBRD supports Serbia's SMEs with 50 mln euro loan

The transaction will strengthen AIK Banka's funding base and enable it to continue lending to the real economy, with the AIK Banka obliged to invest at least 30% of the proceeds in Serbia’s green economy, the EBRD said in a press release.

AIK is the seventh largest bank in Serbia in terms of total assets with a market share of 7.7% as per the first half of 2023. It is a major corporate lender and serves more than 300,000 clients through 61 branches across the country.
