EBRD is considering providing a sovereign loan of up to 60 million euro ($69.7 million) to the Albanian government to finance tourism-enabling municipal and transport infrastructure sub-projects in the municipalities of Berat, Fier, Korca and Shkodra, and a credit line of up to 10 million euro to local commercial banks to support private sector businesses in the tourism sector in those municipalites, the EBRD said in a procurement notice.
The consultant would perform all the necessary services to undertake a scoping study, determine priority intervention areas and recommend a priority list of sub-projects to be financed by the EBRD.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is November 24. The assignment is expected to start during the fourth quarter of 2017 and has an estimated overall duration of eight weeks.
