EBRD mulls 50 mln euro loan to Turkish hospital chain MLP Saglık Hizmetleri

ISTANBUL (Turkey), December 19 (SeeNews) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is considering providing a 50 million euro ($61.4 million) loan to Turkish hospital chain MLP Saglık Hizmetleri for the opening of six new hospitals and the expansion of an existing hospital in the period 2015-17.

The project aims at setting standards for corporate governance and business conduct and improving the private provider market which is held back by the lack of quality healthcare professionals in Turkey, the EBRD said in a statement.

Its total value is 155 million euro.
