The combined value of these potential initiatives, aligned with the EBRD’s country strategy for Kosovo 2022-2027, is estimated at 400 million euro ($434 million), the bank said in a press release.
As part of the agreement, the EBRD and Kosovo's government identified several priority projects in key areas such as road and railway infrastructure, wastewater and solid-waste-management projects, renewable energy and telecommunications. Potential cooperation will also be aimed at developing tailored financial products and policy reform to support a more competitive and inclusive private sector.
The MoU was signed at the sidelines of the Western Balkans Investment Summit 2024 that was held in London on Monday.
