The financial terms of the deal remained undisclosed in a filing published last month on the competition regulator's website.

CEE-BIG is majority-owned by Israeli-based BIG Shopping Centers, which specialises in the development of shopping centres.

It is already present in Serbia, having developed four shopping centres with a total letting area of 216,670 sq m.

CEE-BIG's unit Minel Kotlogradnja Real Estate in June obtained permission for the construction of Retail Box, a building with a total surface area of 26,614 sq m in Belgrade. The company has abandoned plans to build the Big Fashion Vidikovac shopping centre and instead plans to build residential facilities at the same location.

RCP Projekt was established in 2014. It owns retail park Capitol Park Rakovica. Belgium-based First Retail International owns 77.5% of its share capital, local Korys Investments NV has a 7.5% holding, while Netherlands-based Holland Star Investments Cooperatie UA owns the remaining 15% interest.
