Durres port's cargo traffic rises 28.4% in 2023

February 12 (SeeNews) - Albania's largest seaport of Durres handled 2.1 million tonnes of cargo last year, up from 1.6 million tonnes processed in 2022, the Durres Port Authority (DPA) said on Monday.

The volume of container units processed in 2023 was 38% higher compared to 2022, DPA said in a post on LinkedIn.

The number of passengers traveling from and to the port of Durres increased by 3% to 827,000 in 2023, DPA said in January.
