Dunav tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices rise

October 7 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices edged up, bourse data showed.

A total of 705 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 849,825 dinars. Dunav closed flat at 1,207 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.21% at 829.85 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.11% at 1,714.81.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 1.089 billion dinars ($90.6 million/92.8 million euro) on Friday, up from 7.7 million dinars on Thursday, as 58 transactions were carried out.

Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.087 billion dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.

In the period between October 3 and 7, BELEX15 went up 0.30%, while BELEXline fell 0.12%.

The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 1.675 billion dinars, versus 195.4 million dinars last week.

Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 1.341 billion dinars this week, up from 165.0 million dinars last week.
