Dunav tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices decline

October 14 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices went down, bourse data showed.

A total of 2,186 Dunav shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.7 million dinars. Dunav closed down 0.08% at 1,220 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.17% at 827.92 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 1.29% at 1,722.48.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 34.0 million dinars ($282,300/289,700 euro) on Friday, up from 5.8 million dinars on Thursday, as 80 transactions were carried out.

In the period between October 10 and 14, BELEX15 went down 0.23%, while BELEXline grew 0.45%.

The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 64.7 million dinars, versus 1.675 billion dinars last week.

Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 4.6 million dinars this week, down from 1.341 billion dinars last week.
