Doverie United Holding trades most on Sofia bourse, SOFIX rises

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 1 (SeeNews) – Trading in shares of Bulgaria’s Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] generated 77% of the turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday, bourse data showed.

The turnover on the Sofia bourse rose to 4.8 million levs ($2.9 million/2.4 million euro) on Friday from 440,217 levs on Thursday.

A total of 1.79 million Doverie United Holding shares changed hands at an average price of 2.09 levs per share, generating a turnover of 3.7 million levs.

Doverie United Holding was the top blue-chip gainer on Friday, as its shares closed 2.2% higher at 2.09 levs.

The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.30% to 667.02 points on Friday after falling by 0.34% on Thursday.

The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, edged up 0.03% to 130.53 points, after adding 0.28% on Thursday.

The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 0.07% to 114.07 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.20% higher.

The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.14% to 547.14 points, following a 0.10% increase on Thursday.

First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] fell the most among the blue chips on Friday, closing 1.67% lower at 5.3 levs.
