January 16 (SeeNews) - Denmark-based Vestas, the world's largest producer of wind turbines, said on Friday it has received an order for the delivery of 67 of its V90-3.0-megawatt (MW) wind turbines for customers in Romania.
The order was placed by S.C. Ewind S.R.L and S.C. Wind Power Park S.R.L., Romania, Vestas said in a statement. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the turbines and a long-term service agreement. The value of the contract was not disclosed.

The wind turbines will be delivered to two projects in the region of Constanta in Romania during 2009 and 2010.
The projects are developed by one of the key wind development companies in Romania, Monsson Alma SRL from Constanta, Vestas added.
