December 9 (SeeNews) - Denmark's EdTech company Shape Robotics said it has established a three-year partnership with Romanian electronics and IT distributor Network One Distribution (NOD) for delivering orders with an estimated value of 60 million Danish crowns ($8.5 million/8 million euro).
The Danish company will sell its own robot, Fable, as well as 3D printers and VR glasses through NOD's widespread distribution network, it said in a press release on Thursday.
As part of the partnership, the first order will be delivered this month, with an estimated value of 7 million crowns.
From this point onwards, the two companies expect orders with similar values three times per year.
"The partnership with NOD is part of our strategy to build a solid distribution and integration network in Romania, so we can scale up even faster. The stronger a network we have, the easier it is for us to get out to the local school, company or institution and implement the technology quickly with high user-friendliness for the teachers and well-documented effect on the students' learning" said Andre Fehrn, CEO of Shape Robotics.
Shape Robotics is a Danish company whose revenue comes primarily from Romania, the U.S., Australia, Poland, Benelux and Denmark. In 2022, the company expanded its growth strategy to include 19 Eastern and Central European countries.
