November 28 (SeeNews) - Czech real estate developer CTP said on Monday that it plans to expand its CTPark Bucharest South logistics park by an additional 75,000 sq m, bringing the development to a total lettable area of 145,000 sq m.
CTP will deliver 15,000 sq m in the upcoming period, while the remaining 60,000 sq m will be delivered subsequently, the company said in a press release.
Works have already started and the company aims to resume them in January.
CTPark Bucharest South currently has a surface area of 70,000 sm q and is one of the company's five logistics parks built around the capital Bucharest.
"We have 70,000 sqm fully leased, we are delivering another 15,000 soon and we are starting to build another 60,000 sqm, so that CTPark Bucharest South will increase its area to 150,000 sqm, for which we have already prepared the infrastructure" CTP country manager for Romania, Ana Dumitrache, said.
CTP is a full-service commercial real estate developer which builds, manages and delivers custom-built, high-tech business parks throughout Central and Eastern Europe. In Romania, the company owns warehouses with a total surface of 2.3 million sq m in 15 cities: Arad, Brasov, Bucuresti, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Deva, Oradea, Pitesti, Sibiu, Timisoara, Turda, Targu Mures, Caransebes, Ineu and Salonta.
