Croatia's wheat output up 1.5% y/y in 2022 – first estimate

September 2 (SeeNews) - Production of soft and hard wheat (winter, spring and seed) in Croatia increased by an estimated 1.5% on the year in 2022, to some 976,000 tonnes, the national statistical office said.

Winter barley and spring barley production rose 1.6% year-on-year to 311,000 tonnes, the statistical office said in a first estimate of production of cereals in the current year published on Wednesday.

It estimated that the production of rapeseed decreased by 8.2% to 62,000 tonnes and production of oats fell by 1.7% to 58,000 tonnes compared to last year.
