Croatia’s Vindija Opens 15 Mln Kuna (2.1Mln Euro) Turkey Breeding Farm

September 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian food group Vindija on Friday said it opened a new turkey breeding farm in Varazdin, northern Croatia, following some 15 million kuna ($ 2.9 million/2.1 million euro) in investment.

The farm, on 65,358 square metres, will have an annual production capacity of 130,000 turkeys or 1.825 mln kilograms of live weight, the company said in a statement.

Vindija group ( www.vindija.hr ), located in Varazdin, comprises dairy, meet processing plants, poultry farms, bakery and a fodder producer.
