December 30 (SeeNews) - Croatian tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] said on Monday it has signed a loan agreement worth 23 million euro ($25.7 million) with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
With the money Valamar will finance the Istra Premium Camping Resort project, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
The company has said it will spend a total of 56 million euro in three years to reposition Istra Premium Camping Resort in Funtana into a five-star camping resort on the Istria peninsula.
In November, Valamar said its supervisory board approved the investment programme for 2020 in the amount of 111.1 million euro.
So far, Valamar Rviera has invested some 808 million euro in tourism.
The company's shares traded 0.78% higher at 38.80 kuna by 1435 CET on Monday on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
