Croatia's Uljanik unit to build four bulk carriers for shipping co Jadroplov

December 31 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik [ZSE:ULJN-R-A] said on Tuesday it has signed with local shipping company Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL-R-A] a deal for the construction of four vessels.

Under the signed agreement, local shipyard 3. Maj [ZSE:3MAJ-R-A], majority-owned by Uljanik, should build four 37,000 deadweight tonnage bulk carriers, each 183 metres long and 30 metres wide, Uljanik said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

The commissioned vessels should be delivered by the end of 2017.
