November 30 (SeeNews) - The supervisory board of Croatian shipyard Uljanik on Friday gave the green light for issuing a letter of intent for buying local peer 3.Maj, Uljanik said in a bourse filing.

3. Maj said in July it had turned to a consolidated net loss of 73.1 million kuna ($11.8 million/9.7 million euro) in the first half of 2012 from a consolidated net profit of 2.8 billion kuna a year earlier.

The state owns 83.32% of 3.Maj.
