November 22 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Turisthotel [ZSE:TUHO] plans to invest some 65 million kuna ($8.8 million/8.6 million euro) to upgrade its holiday village Zaton, it said on Tuesday.
The investment will be used to overhaul a 4,000 square metres restaurant and entertainment compex Kalelarga 4, to upgrade the suites in the holiday village to four-star category and to build new camping, sports and recreational capacities, the company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
The project is part of the company's 2023-2028 investment plan which its supervisory board approved on Tuesday.
The plan also envisages to upgrade to hotel its hostel Forum and to turn into hotel a building which previously was a cinema hall.
Turisthotel did not disclose the overall value of the five-year investment plan.
The company's shares last traded on the Zagreb bourse on November 14, closing 0.45% higher at 4,500 kuna.
