Exports rose 33.4% on the year to 149 billion kuna in the January-October period, while imports grew 50.4% to 261.3 billion kuna, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement, quoting preliminary data.
Croatia's exports to the European Union (EU) increased by 34.6% year-on-year in the review period, reaching 102.2 billion kuna, whereas the country's imports from the EU rose by 37.2% to 182.6 billion kuna.
Croatia's trade deficit rose by 13% to 69.3 billion kuna last year.
