The 15-year loan will be taken out at an interest rate of EURIBOR plus 1.0%, the government said in a statement posted on its website.

In May, the EBRD said the loan proceeds will be used for the extension and reconfiguring of the passenger wharves at the Adriatic port of Split and that the overall cost of the project is 23.4 million euro.

The Port of Split Authority is a statutory authority established to administer and manage the operations of the port of Split.
