Croatia's Span to dissolve Swiss unit

November 15 (SeeNews) - Croatian software developer Span [ZSE:SPAN] said on Wednesday that it has taken a decision to dissolve its Swiss subsidiary in order to end the long period of non-operation and in accordance with the provisions of Swiss legislation.

Span Swiss AG, based in Zug, Switzerland, was founded in 2019 and is 100% owned by Span.

"The company has been inactive since its foundation, as the planned business activities did not even begin due to the coronavirus pandemic," the parent company said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

Span's shares soared 4.92% to 51.20 euro ($55.52) intraday on Wednesday on the Zagreb bourse.
