October 19 (SeeNews) - Croatian company Smart Sense, specialised in the development of Internet of Things products and smart city solutions, said on Thursday it plans to invest a further 2.0 million euro ($2.1 million) to expand its production plant in the next one year.
"So far, we have invested 5.0 million euro in development of our own solutions, while in the whole production facility we have invested 6.0 million euro and we plan to enlarge it additionally next year," Radovan Rusan, founder and owner of Smart Group, said in a press release. Smart Sense is a member of the group.
The company which produces Sensees systems for monitoring air quality and other environmental parameters like noise, said it has marked annual growth rate of mimimim 20% in the past couple of years.
Last month, Smart Sense said it it has signed a deal with Swiss distributor Also International Services to sell Smart Sense products in the European Union and the UK.
