"We are pleased to announce the arrival of the new LYNX 5000, a ground-breaking 5 m³ sweeper available in diesel, electric and an innovative hydrogen-powered version," the company said on its Linkedin profile.

In a separate post on his Linkedin profile, RASCO CEO Ivan Franicevic said that the company has been working for the past three years on its brand new hydrogen fuel cell powered street sweeper.

"Zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell, combined with advanced ultra long life battery pack, boosting 10.5kg of hydrogen compressed to 700bar, all that to run over 200kW of electric motors needed to run a quiet, efficient sweeping operation," Franicevic said.

RASCO is a family business founded in 1990. It manufactures snow ploughs, salt spreaders, crane mowers, street sweeping brushes and associated vehicle upgrades.
