Electricity production in March was higher than February’s 1,272 GWh, the country's statistical office said.
Electricity imports dipped to 828 GWh in March from 832 GWh in the same month of 2023, whereas exports declined to 785 GWh from 968 GWh.
On a monthly comparison basis, electricity imports went down 6.3% in March, while exports rose 15.8%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,493 GWh in March, up from 1,465 GWh in February, and lower compared to 1,541 GWh in March 2023.
