Croatia's Medika Lists 60 Mln Kuna (8.4 Mln Euro) Commercial Papers on Zagreb Bourse

October 13 (SeeNews) - Croatian drug wholesaler Medika listed commercial papers worth 60 million kuna ($ 11.4 million/8.4 million euro) on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday, the records of the bourse showed.

This is the seventh tranche of commercial papers issued by the company and it will mature on October 7, 2009, the bourse said in a statement on Friday.

Commercial papers are an unsecured, short-term debt instrument issued by a corporation, typically for meeting short-term liabilities. More than a dozen Croatian companies currently have their issues of commercial papers listed on the Zagreb bourse.

Medika (www.medika.hr) is listed on the top tier of the ZSE. Its shares were traded at 8,850 kuna by 0943 GMT on Monday, up from Friday’s close of 7,100 kuna.
