Croatia's Medika Jan-Sept Consolidated Unaudited Net Profit Rises 1.2% Y/Y

October 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian drug wholesaler Medika on Wednesday reported a rise in its consolidated unaudited net profit to 8.2 million kuna ($1.5 million/ 1.1 million euro) through September from 8.1 million kuna a year earlier.

The net profit in the first nine month of 2008 rose by one percent on the year due to the positive net effect of the currency exchange differentials, Medika said in a statement to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Medika is listed on the top tier of the Zagreb bourse. Its shares did not trade by 1125 GMT on Wednesday. They closed unchanged at 7, 000 kuna on Tuesday.
