Croatia's main equity indices end lower

October 24 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) extended their losses on Monday for a fourth day in a row, bourse data showed.

The 19-share CROBEX lost 0.44% to close at 1,906.94 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.83% to close at 1,126.55 points.

In regular trading, food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR], was the most traded company with turnover of 1.1 million kuna ($144,000/146,000 euro). Its shares declined 0.33% to finish at 602 kuna.

Another blue chip, ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] dropped 1.56% to end at 1,575 kuna in a turnover of 835,800 kuna. The company announced that it signed on Monday with Montenegro's Crnogorski Telekom [MNG:TECG] a five-year network maintenance agreement worth 12.5 million euro ($12.3 million).

Shares of Zagrebacka Banka Group [ZSE:ZABA] rose 1.61% to end at 63 kuna on the news that its consolidated net profit rose 42.8% on the year in the first nine months of 2022, reaching 1.826 billion kuna.

The bourse's regular trading turnover reached 6.3 million kuna from 6.1 million kuna on Friday.

In block trading, rarely traded shares of hotel owner Sunce Hoteli [ZSE:SUKC] generated a turnover of 229.2 million kuna as 1,134,549 shares changed hands at a price of 202 kuna per share.
