Croatia's Kras boosts cons net profit 39% in 2023

March 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Kras Group [ZSE:KRAS] said its consolidated net profit reached 6.7 million euro ($7.3 million) last year, 1.9 million euro higher compared to 2022.

Earnings before interests, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) reached 17.98 million euro, up 27% on the year as costs grew slower than revenue, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

Consolidated revenue rose 15% to 179.9 million euro, while consolidated costs went up 14% to 171.5 million euro.

Domestic sales expanded 13% to 94.3 million euro. Exports too increased 13% to 75 million euro.

Kras shares last traded on Wednesday on the Zagreb bourse, ending flat at 120 euro.
