The contract represents a continuation of long-standing and successful cooperation with the customer, KET said. Last year, KET successfully completed the project of refurbishing the excitation and protection system of Units 2 and 3 at the same hydro power plant on the Ruzizi River, the natural border river between the DRC, Rwanda and Burundi.
