Croatia’s Koncar D&ST proposes 131% higher dividend

April 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transformers manufacturer Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (Koncar D&ST) [ZSE:KODT, KODT2] said on Tuesday it proposes a dividend of 31.75 euro ($33.72) per share out of its net profit for 2023, up from 13.74 euro per share it paid out last year.

The company’s after-tax profit last year stood at 50.7 million euro, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

According to the proposal, 34.48 million euro out of the 2023 profit will be retained, and the remaining 16.2 million euro will be paid in divided.

Koncar D&ST is part of Croatia’s electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar [ZSE:KOEI].

The ordinary shares of Koncar D&ST, which are part of the wider equity index of the bourse, the CROBEX, traded 1.38% lower at 1,430 euro on Tuesday by 1049 local time on the Zagreb bourse.

Its preferred shares traded flat at 1,420 euro by the same time.
