Croatia’s Koncar delivers equipment for power substation in Iraq

March 12 (SeeNews) - Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] said its unit Koncar – Switchgear delivered earlier this year equipment for a 33/11 kV substation with a 31.5 MVA capacity in Iraq.

With this delivery, carried out in cooperation with Baghdad-based Mawj Al-Taif General Trading, Koncar - Switchgear is returning to the Iraqi market, Koncar said on Monday in its monthly newsletter.

As part of the deal, the Croatian company delivered to Iraq air insulated switchgear to be incorporated in the country's power grid.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Koncar’s shares were the biggest daily gainer on the Zagreb bourseon Tu esday morning, as they traded 3.94% higher at 264 euro ($289).
