November 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's registered unemployment rate rose to 7.2% in October, from 6.7% in September, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.

The number of unemployed people rose by 8.2% on a monthly comparison basis, to 121,597 in October, the statistical office said in a statement.

There were 1,556,925 employed people in Croatia in October.

Croatia's jobless rate stood at 8.4% in October 2018, the statistical office said, citing revised data.
