Croatia's Jan-Nov new passenger car registrations down 5.2% y/y – ACEA

December 15 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Croatia fell by 5.2% on the year in the first 11 months of 2022, to 40,252, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Thursday, quoting provisional figures.

In November alone, new passenger car registrations in Croatia rose by 5.6% on the year, to 2,664, ACEA said in a statement.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 6.1% year-on-year to 8.36 million in the January-November period of 2022, ACEA said in a statement.

In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 4.7% lower on the year at 1.03 million in the first 11 months of 2022.

New passenger car registrations in Croatia increased by 25% to 44,915 in 2021, following a 43% drop in 2020.
