October 1 (SeeNews) - Croatia-based InterCapital said on Thursday that its planned merger with local brokerage Fima Vrjednosnice was delayed because of the current crisis on the capital market.
Meantime, the two companies will continue to cooperate, InterCapital said in a statement sent to SeeNews.

In June, InterCapital said it will merge with Fima Vrjednosnice under the name Fima InterCapital investment firm Ltd.
Fima Vrjednosnice has brokerage companies in several ex-Yugoslav countries and in Ukraine. It also has stakes in commercial banks in Croatia and Bosnia and consultancy companies in Croatia and Belgium.
InterCapital is an independent investment firm which was established in 2001. It operates in the field of trading with financial instruments, managing client assets, and investment banking in Croatia.
