Energy sales fell 29.3%, sales of capital goods rose 14.9%, sales of non-durable consumer goods went up by 9.4% and sales of intermediate goods grew 1.0% on an annual comparison basis last year, the statistical office said in a monthly report. Sales of durable consumer goods went up 0.5%.
Industrial sales on the local market rose 6.3% compared to 2022, while sales on foreign markets increased 0.7% last year.
Alone in December, Croatia's industrial sales rose by 14.2% on the year, following a revised increase of 6.6% in November.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial sales increased by 4.2% in December, after a revised increase of 3.0% in November.
Industrial sales in the Adriatic country increased 21.9% on the year in 2022, the same statistical has said earlier.
