Croatia’s HPB to propose 2.61 euro dividend per share

November 10 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB] said on Friday its management and supervisory boards approved a proposal to distribute a dividend of 2.61 euro ($2.79) per share, using part of retained profit for last year.

An overall 5.28 million euro will be paid out as dividend to shareholders, HPB said in a filling to the Zagreb bourse.

Record date is December 28, ex-date is December 27 and payment date is June 24, 2024.

On August 30, the bank’s shareholders decided 16.7 million euro of its net profit of 17.6 million euro reported for last year to be retained and the remaining 880,000 euro to be allocated to the bank’s obligatory reserves.

The bourse put the shares of HPB in the segment for monitoring after the bank announced its proposal to distribute dividend. HPB last paid out a dividend in 2016, in the amount of of 2.02 euro per share, bourse data showed.

HPB shares traded 2.63% lower at 185 euro by 1334 local time on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
