Croatia’s HPB to include up to 22.4 mln euro of 2023 profit in Tier-1 common equity

February 20 (SeeNews) - Croatian lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka (HPB) [ZSE:HPB] said on Tuesday it has received approval by the central bank to include up to 22.42 million euro ($24.3 million) of its profit for last year in the calculation of its common equity Tier-1, in order to meet the respective requirements.

The move is aimed at further strengthening the bank's capitalisation and solvency, HPB said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.

HPB shares traded 0.95% higher at 212 euro on Tuesday afternoon on the Zagreb bourse.

HPB is a component of the two main equity indices of the bourse.
