October 19 (SeeNews) - Croatia's state-owned development bank HBOR has extended 25 loans worth a total of 903.6 million kuna ($142.3 million/120.3 million euro) to the country's Agrokor concern between 2006 and 2016, local media reported on Thursday.
All loans have been secured by property.
Nine of these loans have been paid off in full, while only a portion of the 16 outstanding loans, valued at 658.6 million kuna, has been repaid, news agency Hina reported, citing a source from HBOR.
An audit of Agrokor's financial statements conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP revealed earlier this month that the concern's liabilities totalled 56.29 billion kuna at the end of 2016, compared to consolidated assets of 41.75 billion kuna.
