Croatia's general govt debt up 4.4% y/y in July

November 6 (SeeNews) - Croatia's general government debt rose to 47.765 billion euro ($51.3 billion) in July, from 45.743 billion euro in the same month of 2022, central bank figures showed.

On a monthly comparison basis, general government debt fell 0.3% in July, according to data published by the Croatian National Bank.

In July, the domestic component of general government debt increased by almost 4.0% on the year to 32.112 billion euro, while the external component fell by 1.4% to 14.653 billion euro.

Croatia joined the eurozone as its 20th member on January 1.
