On a monthly comparison basis, general government debt dipped 0.16% in August, according to data published by the Croatian National Bank last week.
In August, the domestic component of general government debt increased by 6.5% on the year to 33.072 billion euro, while the external component fell by 0.83% to 14.617 billion euro.
Croatia joined the eurozone as its 20th member on January 1.
