December 3 (SeeNews) - Gastro Grupa, Croatia's biggest distributor to the hotel, restaurant and catering industry, plans to expand to the markets of neighbouring Bosnia and Serbia next year, Croatian media reported.
Next year, Gastro Grupa plans to connect with erbian and Bosnian distributors, because the hotel, restaurant and catering (HoReCa) market in Croatia will continue to fall, while elsewhere in the region there is potential for growth, Croatian online business news portal Bankamagazine (www.banka.hr) reported on Wednesday.
“Gastro Grupa (www.gastro-grupa.hr) this year expects turnover of 2.5 billion kuna ($517 million/342 million euro), which in conditions of crisis is a very good result,” Bankamagazine quoted the company chairman, Drago Munjiza, as saying.
The company, which employs 1,800, has some 10,000 customers in the HoReCa industry and operates a fleet of 550 delivery vehicles.
