May 31 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] said on Friday that its unit Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles has signed a 8.0 million euro ($8.7 million) contract to manufacture and deliver its freight rail carriages Tagnpps to an unnamed Swiss company.
The carriages are due to be delivered during the last quarter of this year and the beginning of 2025, Djuro Djakovic said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The Tagnpps carriages, with a 95 cubic metre capacity, are suitable for transport of bulk loads such as grain, corn, and soya, which need to be protected against weather conditions.
Shares of Djuro Djakovic last traded on Monday on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, ending 2.86% higher at 21.60 euro.
