October 22 (SeeNews) - Croatia’s Djuro Djakovic Holding said on Monday its attempt for a friendly takeover of local engineering company Ingra has failed.

Djuro Djakovic Holding said in a bourse filing it secured only 3,190,886 Ingra shares, representing a stake of 23.56%, well short of the bid's success threshold of 95%.

The takeover bid, placed last month, was valid through October 19.
