Croatia’s Dalekovod Signs 1.6 Mln Euro Deal with Macedonia’s MEPSO

December 30 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod said on Wednesday it has signed a 1.6 million euro ($2.3 million) deal with Makedonski Elektro Prenosen Sistem Operator (MEPSO).

Under the contract, Dalekovod will work on the reconstruction of MEPSO’s Bitola 2 substation, on the delivery and installation of a new control system and the replacement of the existing protection systems, Dalekovod said in a statement posted on Zagreb Stock Exchange's (ZSE) website.

The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the statement added.

The deadline for the project’s completion is 48 months, it added.

Dalekovod is part of the 24-share benchmark CROBEX index. Its shares were traded at 323.99 Croatian kuna ($63.6/44.4 euro) by 1320 GMT on Wednesday, 0.32% up from its previous close.
