Croatia's Dalekovod, Siemens Austria Win 13.5 Mln Euro Deal in Montenegro

Ocotober 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian blue-chip power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod said on Friday it has won in consortium with Siemens Austria a 13.5 million euro deal ($18.5 million) for the construction of transmission lines and for the construction and upgrade of substations in Montenegro.

Dalekovod will pocket some 7 million euro from the deal, the company said in a statement.

The contract was awarded by Montenegro's state-run power utility company Elektroprivreda Crne Gore.

The deadline for completing the extension of 400/110 kV substation Ribarevina is 26 months.

The construction of 110/10 kV substation Podgorica 5 and a 110 kV transmission line should be completed in 12 months. The installation of 110 kV cable links between substations Podgorica 5 and Podgorice 3 should be finished in 23 months.

Dalekovod's shares were traded at some 727 kuna ($141.2/102.2 euro) by 1336 GMT on Friday on the Zagreb bourse, down from Thursday’s close of 731 kuna.
