November 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian power transmission equipment maker Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV-R-A] said it is actively looking to sell its portfolio of wind farms as part of plans to shed non-core assets and cut debt.

Croatia's Dalekovod looks to sell wind farm portfolio

Dalekovod said in a statement on Wednesday that it plans to continue investing in the development of new projects using renewable energy resources and in the expansion of existing wind parks.

In August, the Croatian company said it planned to start by the end of the year the construction of the 63 megawatt (MW) Kamensko–Vostane wind park.

In February, Dalekovod said Eko, a local project company where it is a co-owner, had launched the ZD2 and ZD3 wind farms near Benkovac, in the Adriatic county of Zadar. ZD2 and ZD3 comprise 16 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 36 MW.

Dalekovod and its business partners launched into operation in January 2011 the ZD6 wind farm near Gracac which has an installed capacity of 9.0 MW.

With the completion of the ZD2/ZD3 project, Dalekovod participates in the management of combined wind energy capacity of 45 MW, the largest such portfolio in Croatia, the company said back in February.

As part of the disposal plan targeting non-core assets, Dalekovod is also looking to sell or rent out the entire Sky Office high-rise currently under construction in Zagreb, the company said, adding that the project is expected to be completed by the end of December.

Sky Office, which features two connected 22-floor towers offering net space of 18,829 square metres each, is being developed by Officium Partner, a joint venture between Dalekovod and local partner Montaza.

The office property's lead leasing agent, Jones Lang LaSalle, told SeeNews in March that the investment value of the project was 95 million euro ($123 million).
