February 20 (SeeNews) - The area sown with cereals in Croatia in 2023 stood at 223,000 hectares, down 10.1% year-on-year, the statistical office said.

Our of the total, the area put to winter wheat decreased 16.7% year-on-year to 140,000 hectares in 2023, the statistical office said on Monday in a report referring to autumn sowing.

The acreage sown with winter barley fell by 7.9% year-on-year to 58,000 hectares.
