Gross domestic product (GDP) could shrink this year by a real 0.5%, HNB said in a report.

Private consumption could contribute positively to the expected rise in the country's GDP in 2015, mostly fuelled by favorable changes to personal income taxation, HNB said.

Inflation is seen averaging 0.2% in 2015 versus a deflation of 0.2% expected for this year.

In 2013, Croatia's GDP shrank by a real 1.0% after contracting by 2.0% in the previous year.
