Croatia's building permits down 1.3% y/y in Sept

November 14 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia fell by 1.3% on the year to 945 in September, the statistical office said on Tuesday.

The number of permits issued for buildings fell 1.8% year-on-year to 824 in September, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects rose 2.5% to 121, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.

Out of all permits issued in September, 731 covered new construction projects, while 214 were issued for reconstruction works.

Based on the number of permits issued in September 1,663 dwellings are planned to be built, up 10.9% on the year.

The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 5.8% year-on-year to 11,165 in 2022.
